Ambassador Program Terms

1. Introduction

The WEMANY Ambassador Program ("Program") allows qualified users ("Ambassadors") to refer new communities to the platform and receive a commission on the transactions generated by those communities. These Terms complement the Terms of Service and apply to every Program participant.

2. Program participation

2.1 Eligibility

To take part as an Ambassador you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or of legal age in your jurisdiction.
  • Have a WEMANY account in good standing (no suspensions, policy violations or pending disputes).
  • Accept these Ambassador Program Terms.
  • Meet any additional requirements WEMANY establishes.

2.2 Application and approval

Participation in the Program may require an application and approval. WEMANY reserves the right to accept, reject or revoke participation at its discretion, notifying you of the decision.

3. Commissions

3.1 Commission structure

Ambassadors receive a commission calculated on the net value of the transactions made by the communities they refer to WEMANY:

  • Current commission: 2% of the value of each transaction (after deducting WEMANY's platform fee and payment processor costs).
  • Duration: the commission is paid for life with respect to the communities the Ambassador has referred, for as long as those communities remain active on the platform and generate transactions.

3.2 Reservation of modification

WEMANY reserves the right to modify the structure, percentage or conditions of commissions at any time, with 30 days' prior notice.

Modifications will apply as follows:

  • Communities already referred: communities the Ambassador referred before the modification date will continue to generate commissions under the terms in force at the time of their referral, unless the Ambassador accepts the new terms.
  • New referrals: communities referred after the modification takes effect will be subject to the new terms.
  • Termination of the Program: WEMANY may suspend or terminate the Program at any time. In the event of termination, accrued commissions pending payment will be settled in accordance with Section 4.

3.3 Events that do not generate commission

The following do not generate commission:

  • Refunded, reversed or charged-back transactions.
  • Fraudulent transactions or transactions that violate the Terms of Service.
  • Communities the Ambassador has referred to themselves.
  • Communities that already existed on WEMANY before the referral.
  • Transactions made during free trial periods.

4. Settlement and payment

4.1 Accrual

Commissions accrue in your Ambassador account and are shown in your Ambassador Dashboard.

4.2 Holding period

Commissions have a holding period of 30 days from the date of the original transaction, to cover possible refunds, chargebacks or adjustments.

4.3 Threshold and frequency

  • Minimum threshold: commissions are paid out when the available balance reaches a minimum of USD 50 (or the equivalent in your currency).
  • Frequency: monthly payouts for balances above the threshold.

4.4 Payment method

Payments are made through the methods enabled by the payment processor for your country. You are responsible for providing valid and up-to-date bank or payment details.

4.5 Taxes

You are solely responsible for declaring and paying the applicable taxes on your commissions. WEMANY may require tax information and issue the documentation required by law.

5. Ambassador obligations

5.1 Conduct

As an Ambassador, you agree to:

  • Promote WEMANY in an honest, truthful and professional manner.
  • Not make false, misleading or exaggerated claims about WEMANY, its services or potential earnings.
  • Not use spam, unsolicited messages or invasive techniques.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including advertising, consumer protection and privacy laws.
  • Disclose your relationship with WEMANY when promoting the platform (for example: "I am a WEMANY Ambassador and receive a commission for referrals").

5.2 Prohibitions

The following is strictly prohibited:

  • Sub-affiliation or multi-level: recruiting other ambassadors or creating cascading commission structures. The Ambassador Program is NOT a multi-level marketing program.
  • Self-purchases: referring yourself or entities you control to generate artificial commissions.
  • Manipulation: using automated means, bots, fake accounts or any technique to artificially inflate referrals.
  • Impersonation: posing as an employee, official representative or partner of WEMANY.
  • Trademarks: using WEMANY's trademarks, logos or name in a way that suggests official sponsorship or endorsement without written authorization.
  • Prohibited content: promoting WEMANY in contexts of illegal, violent, discriminatory or sexually explicit content, or content that violates the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • External incentives: offering refunds, payments or additional benefits to referrals outside the platform to encourage sign-ups.

6. Intellectual property

The WEMANY, WeMatch and Mission Score trademarks and other distinctive signs are the exclusive property of Wemany Inc. As an Ambassador, you receive a limited, non-exclusive and revocable license to use the promotional materials WEMANY provides you, solely for the purposes of the Program and in accordance with the brand guidelines we give you.

7. Termination

7.1 Termination by the Ambassador

You may end your participation in the Program at any time by notifying ambassadors@wemany.com. Accrued and available commissions will be paid out in the next payment cycle.

7.2 Termination by WEMANY

WEMANY may suspend or terminate your participation:

  • With notice: for any reason, with 30 days' prior notice.
  • Without notice: immediately, for violation of these Terms, the Terms of Service, the Acceptable Use Policy, or for fraudulent conduct or conduct harmful to WEMANY.

7.3 Effects of termination

  • Commissions accrued and available at the time of termination will be settled in accordance with Section 4, unless termination is due to a cause attributable to the Ambassador (fraud, serious violation), in which case WEMANY may withhold pending commissions.
  • You will stop receiving commissions on future transactions of the referred communities.
  • You must immediately cease using WEMANY's promotional materials and trademarks.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • The Program is offered "as is". WEMANY does not guarantee any level of income or results.
  • WEMANY is not responsible for the actions of Ambassadors or of the communities they refer.
  • WEMANY's liability under these Terms is limited to the amount of commissions accrued and pending payment to the Ambassador.

9. Relationship between the parties

Ambassadors are independent contractors, not employees, agents or partners of WEMANY. There is no employment, agency or partnership relationship between the parties. The Ambassador is responsible for their own taxes, insurance and legal obligations.

10. Modifications

WEMANY may modify these Terms with 30 days' prior notice by email or in-platform notification. Continued use of the Program after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you may end your participation in accordance with Section 7.1.

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware (USA), as set out in the Terms of Service.
