This Cookie Policy explains how Wemany Inc. ("WEMANY") uses cookies and similar technologies on its website and platform (the "Service"). It forms part of our Privacy Policy and should be read together with it.

7. Impact of turning them off

  • Essential: turning them off prevents logging in, paying and using security features.
  • Functional: preferences are lost and the experience gets worse.
  • Analytics: does not affect your use, but limits our ability to improve the Service.
  • Marketing: does not affect functionality; you will see less relevant ads.

8. Mobile apps

Our mobile apps (iOS and Android) use cookie-equivalent technologies for:

Essential functionality:

  • Authentication and session maintenance.
  • Push notification tokens to send you alerts.
  • Local storage of preferences and cached content.

Device permissions:

  • Camera and microphone: for live streams, content recording and profile photo. Accessed only when you use these features and with your prior authorization.
  • Location: for optional features such as nearby events. Only with your explicit consent; off by default.
  • Storage: to save downloaded content and media files.
  • Notifications: for activity alerts, messages and live events.

Analytics and performance:

  • Feature usage, session time, error reports and performance metrics.

Managing permissions:

  • From the app: notification settings and preferences.
  • From your device: iOS (Settings > WEMANY) or Android (Settings > Apps > WEMANY) to revoke individual permissions.
  • Revoking a permission may limit specific features but does not prevent general use of the app.

9. International considerations

  • GDPR (EU/EEA/UK): clear information, granular consent, easy withdrawal and no pre-ticked boxes for non-essential cookies.
  • CCPA/CPRA (California): information about collection and the option to opt out of sale/sharing, without discrimination.
  • Colombia and other jurisdictions: we respect applicable local laws.

10. Updates

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our use of cookies, new features or legal requirements. We will announce significant changes through the site, the platform and, where appropriate, by email.
